This unlined coat pattern offers two front options-a high round collar that can be worn open or standing, or a relaxed open front with revere collar. Designed with a modern boxy fit, dropped shoulders and a two-piece sleeve, it’s versatile and easy to wear. The choice of a wrap-only front or button front, and optional pockets, make it an excellent choice for a first coat project. And as a little extra? A bonus headscarf to complete the look!

Fabric Suggestions
Medium heavy weight woven fabric e.g. gabardine, denim, heavy linen, cotton drill, corduroy, boiled wool, tweed wool.

You could also use a Ponte knit.

Trims
7 x Buttons 29mm/45L size for the button up option OR 7 x 30mm press studs (snap fasteners)
Optional bias binding for seams 5cm wide, for an extra challenge. The length will depend on which seams you choose to bind.
